Sasha Mäkilä and the Helsinki Metropolitan Orchestra are touring China on December 24, 2018 – January 3, 2019. The cities toured are Taicang, Yinchuan, Jinchang, Xi’an, Jiaxing, Cixi, Maanshan, Zhoushan Island and Shanghai. The orchestra will perform works by Sibelius, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky and Strauss, among others. The piano soloist is Alina Sorjonen.
